Does Abortion Make You Free? (2)

We live in a context where abortion received a nice name, and even if a woman who is not really positive about it, after reading the definition, makes her believe that it is her right to do whatever she wants with her body and it is up to her to decide if the life inside her will live or die. Is that really so? If we take a look at the definition of the word abortion, it says: "abortion equals to voluntary termination of pregnancy". The definition is made to appear inoffensive as this expression reflects today’s human selfishness. The contemporary women does no longer consider a pregnancy as being a blessing but instead some kind of a burden, of course there are numerous reasons for that.

We found the lethal weapon of family planning: abortion along with the advice of our allies: selfishness and egocentrism.

Usually, when a pregnancy finds us unprepared, without any financial and spiritual resources, we believe that there is no other option than abortion.

Dear mother I want to tell you that I know exactly what you feel. Hundreds of mothers were in the same position when finding out that they were pregnant. The difference is though the decision they made about the life they carry inside their womb. Do not take your roll so easily give life a chance, if you have this call from the Creator.

The fear you feel is absolutely normal but do not forget that if you do not choose to trust God, the life itself, you may choose so wrong that it will be humanly impossible to ever forgive yourself.

So many times girls get pregnant after an illegitimate relation. Take a close look to what Jesus said: "The teachers of the law and the Pharisees said to Jesus: "Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?" They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him. But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger. When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, "If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her." Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground. At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there. Jesus straightened up and asked her, "Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?" "No one, sir," she said. "Then neither do I condemn you," Jesus declared. "Go now and leave your life of sin."

If this resembles your case, Jesus has an answer for you: Leave your life of sin.
Regardless of how we choose to call it, interrupting or terminating a life is in our days still a murder in the first degree!

Someone said that we have had the cure for so many diseases but the men were killed before they could see the light of this world. Choosing to believe a wrong formula to the definition of abortion doesn’t make it less cruel than it is.

Once chosen, abortion makes victims among those who choose it. I know well a case when a student girl (not married) fund out that she was pregnant and she decided to get rid of the baby, she did, after she got married she was not able to have children anymore and she got a severe clinical depression, she was not told in time about the consequences of abortion.

These issues like the physical and psychological consequences of abortion are left in the shadow we do not like to talk about them so much when we choose to see it as being the solution in that very moment.

Talking with a old lady about her abortions, she said that she was still devastated even after so many years; crying she told me the story of her sadness that she became pregnant every 2 years and, advised by her husband, she choose abortion. She finally got the strength to say no when her husband told her to have another abortion she said "no I will have this one".

With the passing of time the deep wounds of abortion don’t heal, they make us miserable. This actually happens with every sin we open the door to in our life.

Woman, I pray that God will give you all the power you need to say no to this brutal sin. When we say no to God’s blessing, without any doubt we open a large the gate to the terrible consequences that follow. Murder was and still is a sin in God’s eyes.

The United States statistics show that approximately 3700 abortions occur daily, 1.37 million per year, where 52% of the women are younger than 25 years old. 32% are aged between 20-24, 20% are teens, 1.2% are girls under 15 years old.

"Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth." The LORD Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress." Psalm 46:10, 11

If you have been trough such an experience, come to God, He alone as already paid the price for your inner healing, for the healing of your heart. Let Jesus Christ heal you and when you get to know God, you’ll see your life transformed just as an ugly worm turns into a beautiful butterfly.

In the meantime, consider alternatives for pregnancy as adoption if you can’t keep the baby. Yet, the One who gives life is the One who sustains it. That’s why turn to Him with all your heart, stick to God and He will provide for everything!
