Does Abortion make you free?(1)

As we all know it, life is the greatest gift of them all! It is not us the ones who decided to have it. Where is then the right we demand when we stop someone’s life? We must know that abortion does not interrupt something but kills somebody. Let’s take a look at our wonderful Creator God, who created the man and the woman with the very specific codes of life, a frame where they will be happy, pleased and grateful if they choose to obey and follow his principles.

Just a very small piece where disobedience created harm in humanity is family planning. Since the very beginning, the family was under Satan’s attack, when Adam and Eve fell into Satan’s trap. The consequences of destroyed families are multiple but one of the most severe is abortion.

Abortion is seen as a solution for women from all over the world beginning with the rich ones to the poor ones from early childhood. The methods don’t seem to matter as long as they find a so called "solution", to their problem - pregnancy.

But can abortion be called a solution? Will it make you free? Why is this solution so easy to embrace?

It is just an illusion, and one of the greatest, to think that aborting your baby will make you free. A decision based on the fear of being rejected, or the fear of not having means to raise a child etc, etc. You need to know that this is indeed a decision that is not freeing you because once you get on with it and "get rid" of the baby, oh the real torment begins. Ask women who have been through it, and think that even if aborting your baby may apparently give you easier days, it will surely give you terrible nights because of the remorse. What’s more this is an act of disobedience toward God and if you don’t choose the reverse (that is to truly repent and decide to never do it again), will get you deeper and deeper in sin and disobedience toward our Lord and Savior.

We can easy see how the deceiver (the evil one), indulges illusions in so many souls. He makes you believe that what you do is pure and normal.

But if we take a look in the Bible we can see that before we were born, we were considered in God’s eyes with our full potential as humans: "My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be" (Psalm 139: 15, 16) In the stage of embryo God has already done the plan for that person. This means that when we have decided to abort an "embryo" in this stage, we decide to stop God’s plan with that person.

Be aware, wherever you are, that we are created to give life not to stop it’s course! When you choose what to do with the life you carry, consider it for a minute and ask your Architect to see, what is His plan with the life planted within you.

Stopping a life is called murder equal to "the unlawful intentional killing of one human being by another".

In the Bible we have a case related to this subject- when a murder starts: "Then Judah said to Onan, "Lie with your brother's wife and fulfill your duty to her as a brother-in-law to produce offspring for your brother." But Onan knew that the offspring would not be his; so whenever he lay with his brother's wife, he spilled his semen on the ground to keep from producing offspring for his brother. What he did was wicked in the LORD's sight; so he put him to death also." Genesis 38:8-10

Back then, when a man died without having a descendant, his brother was supposed to fulfill this need.

Onan was put to death by God because of his disobedience: he received that order and honor, to conceive a blessing from God: a life. He didn’t want to take it and he was killed. So we see that in God’s eye the murder starts from the early conceiving. He was judged right away.

We will be judged in the Day of Judgment, but since then we now see God’s opinion against life. So we deserve death if we stop God’s plan of creating life. "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23
Still in his goodness, as long as we still live, we have the opportunity to repent. In his great love to us he declares: "The LORD appeared to us in the past, saying: "I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness." Jeremiah 31:3

If we are not dead yet, is because God loves us and has patience that we would return from our sinful ways but it is wised to receive the gift of God today…we never know if tomorrow is ours.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life". John 3:16 When we receive the love of Christ we ask forgiveness for our sins he promises that he forgives us and He offers the possibility of a new start, He makes us new creatures; that means that we are changed and willing to change into God’s nature. We will not like sin anymore, we’ll love all that is good and comes from God according to the Bible.

Yes, God can do that for you regardless of the number of abortions you have already committed. Talk to God, He loves you, He’s already done His part! It is your turn to do yours and turn from sin!

Be wise and choose life!
